Solid Wood Decorative Knitting Chest
The divided top of this stunning piece is constructed of a solid ash board, with solid ash frame; mahogany accent insert outlines inner frame. The rest of the construction features solid ash frame and ash plywood panels. Intricately scrolled rosebuds are black walnut. Hinges are brass, supports are brass plate.
Directly under the cover is a 2 inch deep tray that slides along wood extenders for convenient access and positioning. It can also be taken out. Divided top allows knitter to create a comfortable, flat work area while still allowing access to supplies stored inside. Tray can easily be positioned to allow access to large storage area, tray, and flat working area on top simultaneously. It's so cool!
